Meet our Tallahassee Wrestling Staff

Coach Jason Weslager - Program
Director & Head Coach
As a competitor in Pennsylvania, Coach Weslager finished his HS Career with 115 wins, two state medals (7th and 2nd), an NHSCA National Championship to go along with a runner-up finish from the previous season. He was a 4x Freestyle State Placewinner, a 4x Member of Team Pennsylvania, was selected to Team WPIAL for the Dapper Dan Classic, and finished his career at the NCAA Division 2 Level at Mercyhurst University.
As a coach, Jason was a State Champion HS Coach at Fort Lebeouf (PA) in 2007-2008. He then Coached his Alma Mater, Belle Vernon for 10 years; in 2015, they were WPIAL Runner-ups and State 5th. In 2016, WPIAL Champions and State 3rd. He has coached over 20 HS State Medalists, over 50 HS State Qualifiers, and over 50 Youth/MS State Medalists throughout PA and Florida. He and his wife, Lacey, opened Grappling House in November of 2018 and have quickly built one of the strongest youth teams in the Panhandle.

Coach Vince Cicco - K-12
Head Assistant Coach
As a Competitor in Pennsylvania, Coach Cicco was a 4 year letter-winner. He didn't pick up the sport until his Freshman Year in High School, but learned a lot in a short time. Through HS and after, he developed a love for Wrestling that culminated with his son, Dominic, getting into the sport at a young age. Dominic was Grappling House's first student back in 2018, and Vince began as an assistant with us shortly after.
In the time between then and now, Vince has studied the Sport of Wrestling like a Scientist. He's constantly learning and adding new techniques to our curriculum, doing film study behind the scenes, and assisting in implementing drills and new-age thinking into our practices.
He's an excellent motivator and understands psychology in a way that's beneficial to the entire team. He's helped train and prepare 8 Youth/Middle School State Medalists and 1 State Champion in Florida.

Coach Kevin Milligan - K-12
Assistant Coach
As a competitor, Coach Kevin was highly touted. He is the winningest wrestler in his High School's History in St. Charles, Illinois. Brace yourself; Kevin was 4x All Conference, 2x Conference Champ, 2x All State, 2x Freestyle State Champion, and a Freestyle National Cadet All American (Top 8 in Country). In College, he was a 3 Year Letter Winner at the U.S Naval Academy.
Coach Kevin credits his success to the fact that he had 2 Hall of Fame Coaches as mentors through youth and high school. In college, he was fortunate enough to learn from 4x Olympic Coach and USA Wrestling Hall of Famer, Bruce Burnette.
This is Kevin's first season with Grappling House, but the kids have taken to him quickly. He's become the go-to-person for teaching kids high-level techniques. But, Coach is as comfortable breaking things down at a high level as he is working with beginners. He has an innate ability to change the way he explains things to fit the learning style of the wrestler he's instructing. In Coaching, it's a rarity, and we're so pleased to have him on staff!
He's had a strong hand in the rapid development of a lot of our wrestlers, and hopefully he'll have some state medalists under his belt after the 2022 Youth State Tournament.
Coach Zach Alvarado - K-12
Assistant Coach, Head of Private Lessons
As a competitor, Coach Zach was a hammer on the mat. A multiple time state qualifier throughout his life, he was highly regarded statewide as a Senior after multiple appearances on Team Ohio's National Team. While he ended just short of a State Medal that season in Ohio (arguably one of the toughest wrestling states), he used it as motivation to wrestle in college at the University of South Carolina, where he became an NWCA All American in 2017. After college, he was highly motivated to give back to the next generation of wrestlers.
As a coach, he's been mentoring wrestlers for over 5 years now; he's been with Grappling House for 1 year. Prior to our Staff, he coached the University of South Carolina Gamecocks College Club Team. Later, he served as an Assistant at Bishop Kenney HS in Jacksonville, where he assisted in the development of 2 HS State Placewinners.
He's an extremely good motivator who practices what he preaches. If the kids are doing a hard drill, he's leading by example and doing it with them. He quickly earned the respect of our coaching staff, parents, and wrestlers and has made an immediate impact to the growth of our team.
He's also the Head of our Private Lesson Program frequently doing 3 hours per week with individual wrestlers working on techniques to get them to the next level. Multiple students of ours have made huge jumps in their games this Season as a direct result of his Coaching.

Coach Jimmy Martin - K-12
Assistant Coach
As a competitor, Coach Jimmy was a 4 year letter winner at nearby Lincoln High School. He finished his career as a Regional Champion and State Qualifier, accumulating 75+ wins in that time. His accomplishments are remarkable seeing as he only picked up the Sport as a Freshman in HS, where most State Recognized Wrestlers begin far earlier in life.
As a Coach, Coach Jimmy has been with Grappling House Wrestling Club for 3 Years. He's technically sound, bonds well with the wrestlers, and isn't afraid to show his passion for our Sport. He actively coaches a number of our advanced competitors on the Youth Tournament Scene, and has a key role in ensuring that they're prepared for matches. He's assisted in training and preparing 8 State Medalists for Grappling House, including 1 State Champion!

Coach Ivory Johnson-Greising - 3-5 Year Old Head Coach
Ivory is Coach Jason's teenage daughter, and has been around wrestling for a large portion of her life. While she doesn't have wrestling competition experience, she's extremely gifted at motivating kids to be the best versions of themselves.
Her love of children began when she enrolled in her Babysitter Certification Class at age 14, eventually earning her certification. She's been caring for local children, ranging from infants to pre-teens, for about 2 years now.
Since she's taken over our 3-5 year old program, we've seen a large boost in skillset of the group, both athletically and from a wrestling standpoint.
She is currently a Junior at Wakulla HS, where she carries a 4.13 GPA. Ivory is the Vice President of the National Honor Society while also dual-enrolled at Tallahassee Community College. At the end of her Junior Year, she will have graduated HS and be a Full-Time College Student. On top of all that, she works 3 different jobs. She serves as a wonderful example for the children that hard work in the classroom is more important than wrestling results.
